The LG Optimus 7 offers Scan Search utilising its augmented reality (AR) camera technology to provide maps, points of interest and more when using the 5 megapixel camera offered. The handset which runs the new Windows Phone 7 operating system also has an impressive Start screen which can be customised with automatically updating tiles for the latest notifications and news.

As well as the Zune music player which seamlessly sorts tracks, albums and more, the phone also has an integrated FM radio and allows you to add further music, as well as tiles and games through the Zune Marketplace integration featured. For gamers the handset also offers Xbox Live integration making it possible to play console-quality games on your phone, using your Xbox profile too.

The Optimus 7 has a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with an LED flash, and intelligent shot mode. It is capable of both image capture as well as creating high-quality video clips in High Definition which can be shared with a compatible device such as a laptop or television wirelessly with the DLNA DMR Wi-Fi sharing connectivity offered. They can also be shared instantly on social networks through the integrated Facebook or WIndows Live, and backed up with the SkyDrive feature. Additionally, the handset has 16 gigabytes of internal memory, so there is plenty of space for photos, videos, applications and more.

The handset also provides all of the desired phone features with the ePole Hub which provides all of your contacts in one simple interface where you can view their photo, details and latest social network updates, as well as tap the touch screen to call or message them. SMS (text) messaging is supported n threaded (conversation-like view) and the handset features an intuitive email client alongside its Outlook sync possibilities for Contacts, Mail and Calendar. Twitter is made easy with an integrated application, which also supports a voice to text feature allowing you to speak your tweets wherever you go. Other features include the WIndows Internet Explorer web browser for clear HTML web pages.
