How to Activate Voice Dialing on Motorola Droid
Step 1
Purchase an App called “Voice Dialer HF”.
I believe that it still runs for about $5. This is a third-party voice dialer, much like the one that comes pre-installed on your Droid, but it will work with a Bluetooth.
Step 2
Download the “Button Shortcut” App
This is a free App, and will allow you to set the Voice Dialer HF as a shortcut you can activate by pressing your Camera or Search button.
The shortcut buttons will not work if the phone is “asleep” (this is when the phone is on but the screen is black). You don’t have to unlock the phone; just tap the power button to “wake it up” and then you can use your shortcut button.
Step 3
Now connect your bluetooth device and launch your Voice Dialer HF with the shortcut button. If you visited the developer’s website, as you should, you might find that it may not work the first time.
Step 4
Remember, you have 24 Hours to get a Full Refund
If this doesn’t quite cut it for you, or you feel your money was wasted, then remember to return to the market and uninstall within 24 hours and you will be refunded.
